Bioreactor

Currently developing a low-cost, accessible bioreactor for biofilm drug-delivery research in collaboration with Brown University's Shukla Lab for Designer Biomaterials. Supported by a Hazeltine Engineering Grant, the project translates laboratory requirements into a replicable system designed around fluid flow, material compatibility, assembly, and fabrication.

Development is ongoing, the accompanying video documents our current prototype iteration, and the presentation below documents work up until December 2025. Lucas Buckwell led the experimental design and the modeling of the lids and coupons.
